16 March 2026
On 10–11 March 2026, the partners of the SUBBIMATT project gathered in Provaglio d’Iseo (Italy) for the project’s General Assembly, kindly hosted by MACO Technology Srl. The meeting marked an important milestone, taking place one year and a half after the official start of the project.
During the two-day meeting, consortium partners reviewed the progress achieved so far, discussed ongoing technical developments, and coordinated the next steps across the different work packages. The General Assembly also provided an opportunity for partners to align their activities and ensure the project continues advancing toward its objectives of developing sustainable, biobased and bio-inspired smart technical textile materials.
Alongside the General Assembly, an internal workshop on exploitation was organised and led by Alex Di Lucca (Tinexta Innovation Hub), the partner responsible for the project’s communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities. The workshop offered partners the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the exploitation strategy while fostering stronger collaboration across the consortium.
Beyond strengthening technical knowledge, the session also helped reinforce synergies among partners, encouraging discussion on how the project’s results can generate long-term impact and value.
As the project moves forward into its next phase, the consortium remains committed to translating its research activities into innovative and sustainable textile solutions for future applications.
