The SUBBIMATT project was showcased at the Textile ETP Annual Conference 2025, held on 12–14 May in Alcoy (Spain).
Lien Van der Schueren and Guy Buyle from project coordinator CENTEXBEL, together with Bruno Marco and Oscar Calvo from AITEX, represented the consortium at this key European event for textile research and innovation.
The team presented a dedicated poster outlining the project’s objectives and early developments in the field of sustainable, biobased, and bio-inspired materials for smart technical textiles. The conference brought together a diverse range of stakeholders, offering valuable opportunities to exchange knowledge, foster collaborations, and raise awareness about SUBBIMATT’s contribution to a more sustainable textile ecosystem.
